It’s no secret that Miley Cyrus is incredibly, incredibly talented.
Between her impressive vocal range and seriously energetic performances, Miley has long been praised for her ability to put on a perfect show — with the star even being compared to the iconic Tina Turner after her performance at the 2024 Grammys.
So, it’s unsurprising that Miley undergoes a pretty tough training routine.
Back in 2021, Miley left fans shook when she shared an iconic video of herself running on a treadmill while perfectly singing the song “Rebel Girl” by Bikini Kill.
And a couple of years later, Miley got candid about just how intense touring can be, explaining on her “Used to Be Young” TikTok series: “If you're performing at a certain level of intensity and excellence, there should be an equal amount of recovery and rest.”
Now, Miley is discussing her training regimen again, revealing in a new interview that she mostly works out in heels.
Sitting down with W magazine this week, Miley shared, “My lifestyle is extremely clean. Sobriety is a big part of it. My mantra is, like any athlete, ‘Practice how you perform.’ So that’s why I practice in my heels.”
“The gym looks really tough, but then I’ve got my ivory Gucci slingbacks because they remind me of Marilyn Monroe,” she continued.
Miley went on to explain that she’s “interested in feminizing the workout space.”
“I train in heels, mostly. I’m interested in feminizing the workout space, because so much of the workout equipment is ugly,” she shared.
Needless to say, several fans were seriously impressed by Miley’s candid revelation online.
“Artists really are athletes. Gotta have stamina for live performances,” one person posted on X, formerly Twitter. “This is actually MAJOR and I think she’s a genius,” someone else wrote.
“what an icon seriously,” one more user added.
