In a brand-new interview with The Times, Naomi Campbell has opened up about parenting.

Naomi, 54, is mom to two kids, both of whom she welcomed via surrogate.

Naomi welcomed her first child in 2021, when she was 50. The announcement came as a surprise to the world, with the supermodel writing on Instagram: “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother. So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life. There are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love.”

Naomi later told British Vogue, “I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her. But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
And in 2023, Naomi shocked fans once again as she announced that she’d welcomed her second child. “My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence,” she wrote on social media, adding that it’s “never too late to become a mother.”

Now, Naomi has opened up about what it’s like raising two kids as a single parent.

After confirming that she did welcome both of her kids via surrogate, Naomi told The Times, “I hope for a better world for my children. They are 110 percent my priority.”

As Naomi gushed about how much she loves parenting, she admitted that she worries about the number of younger women who aren’t as keen on having kids themselves, partly due to the economic climate.

“I have heard a lot of young girls saying that it is too expensive to have children and they may not want them, and I have said, ‘You will change your mind. You will want to be a mum,’” Naomi admitted.

“I understand economically it is tough. But my mum had nothing and she made it work. It’s worth it. It is so amazing,” she said.
